Five centuries of history in the heart of the Bourbonnais.

La Fontaine aux Lions is housed in a late 15th-century half-timbered building, typical of the medieval city of Montluçon — exposed beams, carved stone and generous volumes from five centuries of history.

The terrace opens onto Place Saint-Pierre, dominated by the Romanesque church of the XIᵉ siècle, one of the finest medieval ensembles in the Bourbonnais.

Our cuisine celebrates the flavours of Auvergne — truffade, cassoulet, aged meats — and also offers fragrant tajines, generous couscous, market fish and shellfish.
